Vegan Mixed Fruit Crisp

Simple Recipe that will impress any guest!




Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 6-8

1 cup of vegan margarine
1 cup of flour
1 cup of raw brown sugar
1 cup of rolled oats
2 gala apples
2 plums
1 cup of mixed berries
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 additional tablespoon of raw brown sugar


 Instructions:
1. Mix the margarine and sugar together and then add in the flour and oats, stir until a consistent mixture
2. In a medium baking pan, evenly distribute the sliced fruit and sprinkle with cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
3. Crumble the oat mixture on the top of the fruit and pack it evenly so that the fruit will stay under the crust while it bakes
4. Put in 350 degree F oven and bake for 30 minutes, to test if ready, stick a fork in the dish and if the apples are soft the dish is ready
5. Let sit for at least ten minutes before cutting
